A passion project and an incredibly fun one at that, this pendant was entirely made by my hands.
I followed the process of forging an axe head only using silver instead of steel and soldering instead of welding (as well as a much smaller scale).
The handle has been whittled down from hardwood and varnished for longevity and a silver bail is attatched to the end for wear.
This piece works both as an objet d'art and as a statement pendant.

This pendant exemplifies my design approach, juxtaposing between clean, minimalistic, angular elements with a raw roughness.
A rough purple sapphire along with a round brilliant moissanite sit as the centre point. Surrounding them is the geometric silver that encapsulates and contrasts the stones while further bringing them to attention.
